The trust and proud on your logo reflects, how much your trusted your designer 😉  how much you trusted his skills and intentions that this particular designer is going to make a brand for me. Your logo is your face, face of your business. It shows your mindspan, your vision.
If you are looking for a logo for your company, you should trust your designer, his skills and his experience. Exactly you trust your doctor, you never said to him why not this medicine or that medicine, why not this procedure. You already trust, if you trust your designer he will make your work excellent. Sometimes we stops designer to use his skills fully. First a Logo should be technically correct, what i mean by this is that it should be a safe design on any media, any surface any process of printing. Then you should see aesthetics, colours, shapes, text etc.
If i have to design a logo, first i think about it, feel it, once it is clear in my mind, once it is done in head and heart, it is ready. Making it on computer just a small job. Now just to play with design tools. In mind it takes 99% of process. Remaining 1% on computer. This makes logo a superstar. Your brand a Superstar.
